About the Role

The Senior Software Engineer, Salesforce role focuses on creating and maintaining systems that support backend processes. The responsibilities include participating in special projects and supporting daily operations. Ownership of tasks, from bug fixes to developing new features, is key to this position. Collaboration with product and development teams ensures effective and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Salesforce Sales and Service Clouds, ensuring smooth integrations with upstream and downstream systems.
  • Work with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support backend technical solutions.
  • Conduct system design and architecture reviews, and collaborate on technical documentation.
  • Enhance system reliability, monitoring, and testability.
  • Partner with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, internal teams, and external integration partners to address challenges.
  • Debug complex, multi-system issues and deliver effective solutions.
  • Lead code reviews, establish coding standards, and contribute to best practices in backend development.
  • Mentor team members and create a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Lightning Components, Salesforce APIs, and Copado CI/CD.
  • Experience with Service Cloud Voice and Digital Engagement implementations.
  • Proficiency in designing and documenting Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and security practices.
  • Strong software engineering background and a willingness to mentor others.
  • Skilled in debugging and creating custom automation tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile development and Git version control, preferably with GitLab.
  • Clear communicator and proactive problem solver.

Compensation

  • Annual base salary: $140,000 – $160,000, depending on experience.
  • Eligible for a variable annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Location

Candidates must reside in an approved U.S. location (excluding D.C. and Hawaii) by their first day. Specific restrictions apply to certain states, including California, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Washington. Colorado residents can work remotely, in the Denver office, or through a hybrid arrangement. Applications from individuals planning to relocate will also be considered.
