About the Role

The Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Administrator will manage and optimize the SFMC platform to support multi-channel marketing initiatives. This role involves close collaboration with digital marketing, eCommerce, and IT teams to ensure the platform is integrated effectively, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Platform Management:
    • Configure and maintain SFMC tools, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Mobile Studio, and Cloud Pages.
    • Manage user roles, permissions, and security settings.
  • Campaign Support:
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to design and implement multi-channel campaigns.
    • Build and manage automated customer journeys and workflows.
    • Support personalized email campaigns using AMPscript and dynamic content.
  • Data Management:
    • Oversee data integration between SFMC and Salesforce CRM or connected platforms.
    • Manage data extensions, segmentation, and subscriber lists to ensure data hygiene and CASL compliance.
  • Optimization & Reporting:
    • Monitor campaign performance, providing actionable insights through reporting tools.
    • Optimize email deliverability and engagement using A/B testing and best practices.
  • Integration & Technical Support:
    • Ensure seamless SFMC integration with Martech tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CMS platforms).
    • Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with Salesforce support when needed.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3 years managing Salesforce Marketing Cloud in a business environment.
  • Certifications:
    • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (e.g., Marketing Cloud Administrator, Email Specialist, Consultant) are an asset.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in AMPscript, SQL, HTML/CSS for email design and customization.
    • Strong understanding of data extensions, API integrations, and marketing automation.
    • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Connector is highly desirable.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication abilities for cross-functional collaboration.
    • Attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and compliance.
