About the Role
The Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Administrator will manage and optimize the SFMC platform to support multi-channel marketing initiatives. This role involves close collaboration with digital marketing, eCommerce, and IT teams to ensure the platform is integrated effectively, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Management:
- Configure and maintain SFMC tools, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Mobile Studio, and Cloud Pages.
- Manage user roles, permissions, and security settings.
- Campaign Support:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to design and implement multi-channel campaigns.
- Build and manage automated customer journeys and workflows.
- Support personalized email campaigns using AMPscript and dynamic content.
- Data Management:
- Oversee data integration between SFMC and Salesforce CRM or connected platforms.
- Manage data extensions, segmentation, and subscriber lists to ensure data hygiene and CASL compliance.
- Optimization & Reporting:
- Monitor campaign performance, providing actionable insights through reporting tools.
- Optimize email deliverability and engagement using A/B testing and best practices.
- Integration & Technical Support:
- Ensure seamless SFMC integration with Martech tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CMS platforms).
- Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with Salesforce support when needed.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years managing Salesforce Marketing Cloud in a business environment.
- Certifications:
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (e.g., Marketing Cloud Administrator, Email Specialist, Consultant) are an asset.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AMPscript, SQL, HTML/CSS for email design and customization.
- Strong understanding of data extensions, API integrations, and marketing automation.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Connector is highly desirable.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-functional collaboration.
- Attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and compliance.
