About the Role
VWFS Porto is expanding as a dedicated IT hub, marking its first venture outside of Germany. With a team of over 120 professionals, the goal is to serve all European markets in the implementation and support of contract management systems. We are seeking a Salesforce Junior Developer to join the Digital, Direct & Mobility Team. This role involves collaborating with a global team of IT and business professionals, focusing on marketing and sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance online customer experiences and support online sales across various channels.
- Develop Salesforce applications aligned with business objectives and scalable processes.
- Implement Salesforce applications based on User Stories for Customer and Asset Journeys.
- Work closely with the agile scrum team to meet business requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with both IT and business team members to determine the needs outlined in User Stories.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in application and software development.
- Familiarity with Salesforce products and third-party applications.
- Proficiency in SQL, Apex, JavaScript, Native, and VisualForce.
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving capabilities for complex software issues.
- Experience working within cross-functional, international teams.
- Fluency in English.
- Certifications such as Salesforce Platform App Builder or Platform Developer are a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce Trailhead and SuperBadges is preferred.
