About the Role
Join a compact and collaborative technology team that values practical outcomes and shared success. The Salesforce Developer will contribute directly to improving critical systems, primarily through hands-on work. The position calls for someone with experience in development and optimization who can help maximize the potential of the Salesforce platform across service and sales functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the ongoing development and maintenance of the Salesforce platform used internally and externally, including via mobile and web applications
- Contribute to projects using Salesforce tools such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, OmniStudio, and Mobile Publisher
- Collaborate with fellow developers and admins to implement updates and improvements
- Work alongside the Salesforce Tech Lead to uphold development standards and maintain consistent output
- Offer input in meetings with leadership and other stakeholders
- Handle a variety of tasks including new features, updates, and fixes — ranging from routine to complex
- Share knowledge and develop skills with teammates
- Explore technologies and suggest adjustments to support efficiency
Requirements
- In-depth Salesforce development experience, including Apex (triggers, classes, async), APIs, Platform Events, Lightning Web Components, and Sites
- Strong understanding of when to apply declarative features versus custom development
- Proficiency with Git and Salesforce CLI
- Experience in continuous integration setups is a plus
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming languages
- Web development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is beneficial
- Knowledge of Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud (Vlocity) is welcome but not mandatory
- Experience working within agile frameworks and using tools like Jira
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to contribute both independently and in group settings
- Willingness to take ownership of tasks and pursue high-quality outcomes
