About the Role
This position is part of the Salesforce delivery and support teams, requiring expertise in Salesforce technologies, including Sales, Service, Marketing, Financial Service, and Experience Clouds. The Salesforce Development team is part of the broader Digital Engineering division, contributing to a range of projects focused on the Salesforce platform. With an active project pipeline, this role provides opportunities to contribute to platform improvements and the development of new customer-facing features within an agile work environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Salesforce delivery team to define and refine requirements, translating them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Design and develop solutions using Apex, LWC, VisualForce, and Omni Studio.
- Contribute to initiatives that improve the core platform and deliver new features within the ASX customer community.
- Support solution design, estimation, and backlog prioritization for various projects.
- Work within a dedicated agile, cross-functional delivery squad following the SCRUM framework.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in Apex, SOQL/SOSL, VisualForce, Omni Studio, LWC, and Java.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce DX and agile delivery methodologies.
- At least three years of hands-on experience with the Salesforce platform and a solid understanding of its architecture.
- Familiarity with Salesforce integration methods, including REST API, Java API, Streaming API, and ESB.
- Experience with DevOps practices, with exposure to Copado and GitLab being an advantage.
- Recent experience developing for the Customer Community Cloud using Lightning Web Components.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Developer 1 and 2 certifications.
- Experience working with third-party tools such as DocuSign, Temenos, or Adobe Experience Manager.
- Background in financial services or capital markets.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and API development using event-driven methods, particularly with Salesforce event bus.
