About the Role

The Salesforce Architect will lead the design and implementation of scalable Salesforce solutions, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems. This position involves defining best practices, optimizing security, and applying automation strategies to enhance workflows. The role requires collaboration with government partners, technical teams, and leadership to drive high-quality solutions that align with long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Salesforce solutions that meet evolving business needs.
  • Define architectural best practices, governance policies, and security measures.
  • Ensure smooth integration between Salesforce and enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures.
  • Provide technical guidance on Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce Flows.
  • Review technical documentation, conduct code reviews, and maintain high development standards.
  • Implement automation strategies, including CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Work in an agile environment to efficiently deploy new features.
  • Participate in on-call support rotations to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Contribute to hiring efforts and mentor junior team members.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience designing and implementing scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce Flows.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Mulesoft, ETL tools, or event-driven architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Gearset, Copado, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Salesforce DX.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles for Salesforce applications.
  • Ability to evaluate trade-offs and balance short-term and long-term goals.
  • Expertise in governance, security, and scalability strategies.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or equivalent certifications.
  • Experience with Salesforce Industry Clouds (Government Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, Health Cloud).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce AI, Einstein Analytics, or Tableau CRM.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, HIPAA, SOC 2).
  • Experience leading Salesforce teams and defining technical roadmaps.
  • Background in large-scale data models and performance optimization.
