About the Role
A business support-focused professional with experience in optimizing CRM systems is needed to join the team in Berlin or Valencia. This role involves managing and customizing Salesforce to match business needs, ensuring smooth operations and long-term scalability. Success in this position requires technical knowledge combined with a support-oriented mindset to improve process efficiency, standardize solutions, and reduce costs using Salesforce tools. Collaboration with Sales Acquisition, Customer Success, Partner Management, Product Development, and Business Analytics teams will be key to keeping the CRM system effective and widely adopted.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary contact for Salesforce-related technical topics, working alongside business and technical teams.
- Maintain CRM functionality, automation, and customization while adjusting to business changes.
- Provide Level 2 system administration support, including managing user permissions, custom objects, workflows, and field configurations.
- Work closely with business operations teams that handle first-level support.
- Develop and manage workflow rules, data validation processes, and approval mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot issues, resolve bugs, and support user adoption efforts.
- Implement and oversee integrations with third-party applications, plugins, and additional tools, including automation beyond the CRM.
- Ensure timely deployment of new system features and coordinate with external vendors as needed.
- Support process improvements by developing scalable approaches.
- Maintain technical documentation for CRM configurations.
- Identify roadblocks and process gaps to ensure smooth system operations.
- Communicate updates on system changes and upcoming features to help prevent potential issues.
Requirements:
- At least two years of experience as a CRM Administrator or CRM Support Manager working with Salesforce, covering sales acquisition and customer success functions.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce settings and capabilities, including Sales Cloud CRM and Salesforce CPQ.
- Experience managing and configuring a CRM system for 100+ users, including workflows, permissions, and custom objects.
- Interest and experience in automating business processes with CRM and other tools.
- Experience supporting integrations between Salesforce and other systems such as ERP, marketing CRM, in-house tech solutions, and custom APIs.
- Ability to translate business needs into structured CRM workflows and processes.
- Strong documentation skills to ensure records remain accurate and up to date.
- Ability to work across multiple teams while managing competing priorities.
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced work environment.
- Proactive approach to learning new technologies and improving existing setups.
- A positive attitude when working with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
