About the Role
As a Salesforce Administrator at Jama Software, you will play a key role in the ongoing development and maintenance of our Salesforce platform, ensuring it aligns with business needs and drives efficiency. You will be responsible for managing and configuring Salesforce, integrating third-party applications, and supporting our internal teams. Working closely with business stakeholders, you will help enhance business processes, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve system performance. In addition, you will manage user permissions, lead system maintenance, and provide training to internal teams. Responsibilities:
- Administer, configure, and enhance the Salesforce platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Manage and configure Salesforce applications, including workflows, custom objects, third-party integrations, and system configurations.
- Assist in user and license management, including user setups, permissions, and profiles.
- Develop and maintain system improvements, ensuring data integrity, security, and regular backups.
- Provide technical support for daily operations, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvements.
- Lead release cycles, manage project tasks, and ensure the timely resolution of bugs and enhancements.
- Support internal Java applications and SQL procedures.
- Offer project management support for IT initiatives and oversee ticketing solutions.
- Design and deliver training sessions for internal teams on system processes and features.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in SaaS or subscription-based companies.
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce.com administration experience.
- 3+ years of experience working with SQL or relational databases.
- 2+ years in managing multi-integrated software solutions.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to prioritize and manage tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ and customer service.
- Familiarity with tools like Salesloft, Gong, Tableau, Marketo, and more.
- Experience with sales process and pipeline management.
