About the Role

Wounded Warrior Project is looking for a Senior Salesforce Solution Architect to design and oversee software applications, workflows, and system interfaces. This role involves working closely with stakeholders, leading development teams, and ensuring applications align with business needs. The right candidate will have extensive experience in Salesforce architecture and be skilled in developing multi-cloud solutions that support operational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business partners and IT teams to understand challenges and define application requirements.
  • Lead discovery workshops to identify system improvements and development priorities.
  • Develop and implement application plans for new or existing systems.
  • Build application prototypes, gather feedback, and refine solutions.
  • Write and maintain scripts and code for application installations and updates.
  • Mentor developers and provide technical support to users.
  • Manage integrations, upgrades, maintenance, and migrations.
  • Document processes, standards, and development procedures.
  • Ensure applications meet performance, security, and reliability requirements.
  • Oversee the software design process and maintain consistency across systems.
  • Identify risks, troubleshoot system issues, and recommend improvements.
  • Research trends in application architecture and implement best practices.
  • Prepare technical reports by analyzing system performance and trends.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience

Required:

  • 7+ years of experience with Salesforce implementation, configurations, and customization.
  • 7+ years in software solution design, development, and deployment.
  • 5+ years working in Salesforce solutions, architecture, and development methodologies.
  • 5+ years as a technology analyst using software design methodologies.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts in business terms.
  • Experience in developing applications aligned with business needs.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Understanding of object-oriented design principles and security best practices.
  • Experience in Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid work environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Visio, Project, and Excel.

Preferred:

  • 3+ years of experience with SQL queries and reporting services.
  • 3+ years of experience with Salesforce Lightning UI (Sales, Service, Experience, Nonprofit, Marketing Clouds).
  • 2+ years of experience with Flosum.
  • Experience with API integrations, Apex, DevOps, and performance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake.

Education & Certifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Salesforce Application Architect or Integration Architect Certification.

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in computer science or information systems.
  • Certification in SQL, Java, C#, C++, or .NET.
  • Salesforce System Architect or Technical Architect Certification.
  • Experience with React Native.

Work Environment

  • Office setting with a temperature-controlled environment.
  • Extended periods of sitting.
  • Hybrid work schedule (three days in-office, two remote).
