About the Role
The Senior Salesforce Developer will design, build, and maintain custom Salesforce solutions, integrating with external systems and optimizing processes. A strong technical mindset, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are key for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Development & Customization – Build scalable and reliable solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Flows, and Platform Events.
- System Integration – Develop and manage integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and third-party platforms.
- Salesforce Administration – Utilize declarative tools such as Flows and Process Builder to streamline processes.
- Deployment & Debugging – Implement and troubleshoot solutions using Salesforce CLI, Change Sets, and ANT Migration Tool.
- Technical Documentation – Write clear documentation for developed solutions, including design specifications.
- Code Quality & Standards – Follow best practices for development, ensuring efficient, well-structured, and maintainable code.
- Testing & Optimization – Perform code reviews, write unit/integration test cases, and maintain 85% test coverage.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and consultants to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Strategic Support – Contribute to long-term initiatives that improve the scalability and performance of the Salesforce platform.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.
- Expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Flows, and integrations.
- Proficient in Sales Cloud, database concepts, SOQL, SQL, web services, and APIs.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and third-party platforms.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, Salesforce governor limits, and best practices.
- Proficiency in using Visual Studio Code for Salesforce development, debugging, and deployments.
- Experience with Salesforce deployments via Salesforce CLI, Change Sets, or ANT Migration Tool.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy in technical specifications.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work independently.
- Certifications Required: Salesforce Administrator and Salesforce Platform Developer I.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), including email marketing, automations, and Journey Builder.
- Salesforce App Builder and Platform Developer II certifications.
