About the Role

A financial services company with a strong market presence is looking for a Salesforce Developer to improve and maintain its Salesforce environment. This role involves working as an individual contributor alongside a team of eight Salesforce professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee technical architecture, design, and development within the Salesforce platform, providing hands-on expertise and technical direction.
  • Lead the application development process from initial design to production deployment.
  • Establish and apply architectural practices that enhance development agility, performance, and security.
  • Design, develop, and configure large-scale Salesforce solutions to meet complex business requirements.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, define processes, and implement solutions.
  • Mentor junior and senior developers, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance on system integrations.
  • Contribute to architectural project planning and assist in securing necessary resources.
  • Assess the impact of change requests and recommend solutions that minimize disruptions to end users and development teams.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Solution & Technical Architect, making enterprise-level decisions on Salesforce, data, and integration architecture.
  • Strong background as a Salesforce Technical Lead and Developer, with expertise in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and LWC.
  • 5+ years of experience designing enterprise integrations between Salesforce and on-premise or legacy systems.
  • Certifications: Two or more from the following: Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Certified Architect.
  • Experience developing enterprise integrations using Java, Java EE, Postman, REST/SOAP APIs, and Tibco (or Mulesoft/CastIron).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Jira, ServiceNow, GitLab, Bitbucket, and Visual Studio Code.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean Startup, SAFe) and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Industry knowledge of automotive software technologies is a plus.
