About the Role
A skilled Salesforce Business Consultant is needed to work with stakeholders, identify challenges and opportunities, and propose effective solutions to achieve organizational objectives. This role demands strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a comprehensive understanding of Salesforce capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to collect and document requirements.
- Analyze and translate business needs into actionable solutions.
Solution Design:
- Partner with developers and solution architects to design and implement customized solutions.
- Assist in defining and documenting both functional and technical designs.
Data Management:
- Support data migration, quality assurance, and integration activities.
- Ensure accurate mapping of business data within the system.
System Testing & User Acceptance Testing (UAT):
- Develop and execute test cases to ensure requirements are met.
- Assist stakeholders during UAT.
Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as a link between business and technical teams.
- Provide updates on project progress and outcomes to all stakeholders.
Ongoing Support:
- Troubleshoot issues, offer support, and suggest system enhancements.
- Monitor system performance and keep track of Salesforce updates and features.
Project Management:
- Offer high-level project estimations and assist in managing team resources.
Qualifications and Skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
- 5–7 years of experience in business analysis, preferably with Salesforce.
- Salesforce Sales Cloud experience is highly valued.
Skills:
- Deep understanding of Salesforce capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency in gathering requirements, documenting them, and creating user stories.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Salesforce certifications are a plus.
