About the Role
The Applications Development Lead will act as a technical lead within the Salesforce platform, working closely with business teams to design and implement solutions aligned with organizational goals. This role involves managing a team of developers, administrators, and specialists to deliver impactful Salesforce-based solutions. Candidates must possess experience with Sales Cloud and/or Health Cloud and hold relevant Salesforce certifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide functional and technical expertise to deliver solutions that support business strategies.
- Present technical alternatives and recommendations based on business and technology requirements.
- Manage technical teams to design, build, test, and implement enterprise applications.
- Monitor progress, ensure quality, and address risks that may impact project success.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on industry trends, solution design, and application architecture.
- Build scalable, highly available Salesforce-based solutions suited to specific business needs.
- Assess platform capabilities, identify gaps, and propose minimal customization solutions.
- Develop architecture artifacts, including high-level designs and detailed technical specifications.
- Create proof-of-concept models and establish best practices for architecture and development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Conduct troubleshooting and resolve complex technical issues.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 7 years of software development experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with cloud-based software applications.
- Proven expertise in Salesforce implementations, with at least 4 full life-cycle projects.
- At least 2 years of experience in Sales Cloud and/or Health Cloud development.
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce integrations.
- Strong understanding of healthcare industry standards, regulations (e.g., HIPAA), and workflows.
- Salesforce certifications such as Certified Technical Architect, Health Cloud Consultant, or Platform Developer are a plus.
- Analytical skills for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with stakeholders effectively.
