About the Role

This position offers the opportunity to maintain and enhance Salesforce systems and processes to support organizational growth. As a member of the Enterprise Systems team, this role directly influences performance, security, and the efficiency of business operations. Collaboration with stakeholders across the company will be a key aspect of the role.

This position is open to candidates in Burlingame, CA (headquarters), hybrid work arrangements, or fully remote roles within the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and define requirements for key initiatives.
  • Provide expertise in sales processes, supporting Sales and Sales Support teams.
  • Lead technical approaches and solutions using best practices.
  • Customize Salesforce using declarative tools and coding, including Lightning Pages, Flow Builder, APEX, and Lightning Components.
  • Develop and implement integration strategies for Salesforce with various systems, ensuring effective data flow and automation.
  • Build custom solutions using Salesforce integration tools such as APIs, middleware platforms, and connectors.
  • Conduct analysis and investigations to recommend technology improvements, standardization, and upgrades.
  • Monitor and resolve system issues promptly to enhance user experience and performance.
  • Maintain and configure development and test instances for internal sandboxes.
  • Create and maintain documentation for implementations, integrations, and best practices.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of experience in Salesforce in a technical or functional role focused on custom enterprise solutions.
  • A minimum of 4 years of Salesforce development experience (Apex, Lightning Components, Force.com APIs, Web Services).
  • At least 7 years of experience in general technical development and support.
  • Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills for stakeholder collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate multiple SaaS systems with Salesforce using integration applications and custom-built solutions (REST and SOAP APIs).
  • Skilled in data mapping and transformation processes while ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce security models and platform governor limits.
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile tools and methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with development tools like Visual Studio Code, Git, and SVN.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, or Service Cloud Consultant.
